Arquine No. 24

For the entry to the Arquine no.24 contest, they have requested a temporal innovative proposal, which has to be sustainable, recyclable and that invites citizens to coexist with architecture. The jury has chosen Walled Garden, a post-extractivist architecture proposal by Daniel Daou, Carlos Galindo, and Carlos Moreno, as the winner pavilion of the 2022 edition.

The manufacture of the contest winner pavillion has been assigned to La invencible and has been exhibited at La Alameda Central of Mexico City. The installation has a surface area of 90m2. Its structure works as a landscape garden in the middle of the city, creating a microclimate that retains humidity that recovers the small labyrinth of 3 hidden exist. In the center as a tribute to the existing statue of Alexander Humboldt, a proto-ecologist geographer.
